The drawings are in plan view, not perspective, so the contents of the shelves do not show. And I have omitted the orrery temporarily to aid in working out the underlying design.

The pheonix is just a quick sketch to give an indication. I will be developing a series of studies just for the phoenix.

I am not satisfied with the pattern of skylight mullions. But I'm quite happy with the pattern of paneling in the perimeter, and the compase rose.

I've thrown in a hint of the cast shadows from the skylight windowpanes.... again, these are just a rough hint.
